ENIRONMENT

Over the past five decades, climate changes have become increasingly apparent and are occurring at an accelerated rate. Concurrently, scientists worldwide have developed accurate climate models that predict these changes. These models provide substantial evidence that the greenhouse gases generated by human activities are significantly impacting Earth’s climate and causing it to warm. 1

Long-lasting Impact of Greenhouse Gases:
Due to the rise in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, less of the energy received from the sun is being reflected back into space. This has led to a permanent warming of the Earth’s climate. Even if we were to cease greenhouse gas emissions today, the adverse effects of climate change would persist for centuries.
